Biden Goes Ahead w/Court Packing

What do you do when your base passionately wants something, and your power base requires it, but it’s unpopular with the general public.

That’s the case with court packing.

The public doesn’t like it, Democrats demand it, and being able to pass the Obama 3.0 agenda requires it.

Biden has tried evading the question. Now he’s settled on a process for making court packing appear like a bipartisan reform initiative. The traditional D.C. scam, the commission.

“If elected what I will do is I’ll put together a national commission of — bipartisan commission of — scholars, constitutional scholars, Democrats, Republicans, liberal, conservative, and I will ask them to over 180 days come back to me with recommendations as to how to reform the court system because it’s getting out of whack, the way in which it’s being handled,” Biden argued. .”And it’s not about court packing. There’s a number of other things that constitutional scholars have debated and I’ve looked to see what recommendations that commission might make.”
