The media went along on Buttgieg’s tour to win over black people hoping for a train wreck. And a train wreck was delivered unto them.
Mayor Buttigieg is awkward around black people. His official proxy, a black woman from South Bend, keeps having to defend him, with ridiculously false claims, and in this case from a Black Lives Matter white man.
Some Black leaders in South Bend, Indiana organized an event in support of their Mayor, Pete Buttigieg, but things quickly went wrong when an activist wearing a “Black Lives Matter” shirt interrupted and grabbed the mic.
