Bringing the Military into Politics – an Interview with Col. Rob Maness – Episode 280

Col. Rob Maness is a military and counter terrorism expert with incredible experience in both strategy and in the field. He led numerous combat operations during his career, he was in the Pentagon during the 9/11 attack, and he is currently running for the State House of Representatives in Louisiana, where he is the leading candidate currently to win the seat.

In their conversation, they talk about the nation being divided when Washington, D.C. is not. Instead, Maness calls Washington the “Uni-Party” because it is led by people with similar values who are too focused on themselves rather than representing their constituents. Military leaders would be more ideal as political leaders because they tend to avoid the corruption that runs rampant through most parties.

Maness explains why, though he was reluctant, he decided to run for a political seat, what he hopes to bring to the office if he wins and how our listeners can help. Because he is truly conservative and a constitutionalist, Maness hasn’t found support with party leaders.

They discuss the truth about our American nuclear defenses and the method Trump is using to deter outside attacks.

Also in the episode, Chuck and Mark consider the alarming rate of suicides surrounding the Clintons. If you haven’t read Mark’s article on the subject, visit https://bluntforcetruth.com/knowing-clintons-increase-odds-of-suicide-by-500/ in the Blunt Force Truth™ Trending News section.

Mark and Chuck discuss how the left is changing the meaning of powerful words, referencing a protest group that everyone should be aware of, Refuse Fascism. Mark reveals the open communist managing the organization – and a pretty shocking money trail keeping it alive. They also talk about the ridiculous monument that Obama had approved – which Trump shut down once he was in office.

About the guest:

As a Joint Chiefs of Staff operations officer he was on duty in the National Military Command Center located within the Pentagon during the September 11, 2001 attack. In the ensuing months, he directly assisted the United States national security team with creating, synchronizing, and executing the campaign plan for the global war on terrorism.  Colonel Maness authored the first theater nuclear war plan and designed decision-making tools for the Presidential nuclear decision handbook strengthening U.S. extended strategic deterrence policy in European and Pacific regions. It advocates for policies that protect your liberty, fight for limited government, and ensure prosperity.

He is also a founding board member at the Military Advocacy Project of Louisiana, Inc., a veteran’s advocacy group committed to preventing veteran suicides and ensuring military families have equal access to benefits.
