Limousine liberal hypocrite and self-styled leader of the resistance Michael Moore’s year isn’t ending on a very positive note.
The Michigan mammoth has pissed away the last year in a futile effort to mobilize rabble in the streets with the goal of overturning the results of last year’s election.
It hasn’t worked out well for Moore and his fellow celebrity twats. The brief joy on Friday when it was reported that Michael Flynn cut a deal with Robert Mueller’s Gestapo over “candidate” Trump’s order to contact the Russians went up like a bag of flaming dogshit hours later after it came out that ABC’s Brian Ross lied about a significant detail.
Sucks for them – again.
Moore’s Broadway show “The Terms of My Surrender” was a bomb and now there is a problem with his upcoming “Fahrenheit 11/9” on Hillary’s historic collapse which may not see the light of day due to a conflict with his buddy Harvey Weinstein.

Potential legal battle looms over “Fahrenheit 11/9” as Moore and Weinsteins dig in.
According to Deadline, Michael Moore’s feud with the Weinsteins over his anti-Trump documentary, “Fahrenheit 11/9,” has the potential to get litigious — and give President Trump “the last laugh.”
Since breaking documentary box office records with his George W. Bush hit-piece “Fahrenheit 9/11,” Moore has struggled to find a topic that will get Americans to theaters. He’s been banking on his newest project, a quasi-sequel focusing on Donald Trump’s stunning electoral victory and first tumultuous year in office, to reverse his box office fortunes.
But there’s a major roadblock: The Weinsteins have control over the project and are “right now blocking Moore and his WME reps from being able to set the film with a theatrical distributor or a premium broadcast outlet,” Deadline reports.
The dispute involves Moore’s refusal to pay back the Weinsteins the over $2 million they’ve already sunk into the project because he doesn’t want to cut a check to alleged sexual predator, Harvey Weinstein. In turn, the Weinsteins are refusing to give up control of the project.
“Sources describe the crux of the dispute this way: the Weinsteins want their money back, while Moore and his WME reps want them to step aside, chalking the loss up to the price of scandal,” Deadline reports. “Moore, who blasted Harvey Weinstein after numerous women came forward in press reports, doesn’t want to pay anything because morally it would compromise his film to cut a check to a man he considers a sexual predator, sources said.”
Moore insists the Weinsteins should accept the financial loss as just an unfortunate fallout from the scandal and step aside so he can finish the project. “After all, blocking the film from release would give the last laugh to Trump, whom Weinstein campaigned against in the last presidential election when he backed Hillary Clinton, before the Democratic Party cut all ties with him following the scandal,” Deadline notes.
Considering all of the legal woes facing the Weinsteins and especially high-rolling Democrat donor and serial sexual predator Harvey it hardly seems likely that they are going to allow themselves to be shaken down by a two-bit snake oil salesman like Michael Moore whose big project is now in limbo and may stay there for the foreseeable future.

There is no love lost between Moore and Harvey Weinstein now, which could make this stalemate interesting. The Oscar-winning docu director harshly disparaged Weinstein in a Facebook essay that followed the sexual assault revelations published by the New York Times and the New Yorker. In an essay headlined “Use This Moment To Create A World Without Harveys,” Moore described Weinstein as a sociopath and noted that he was the only director who actually took Weinstein to court “for being a thief, which requires a different set of sociopathic skills, but like sexual harassment, you can probably find them at a few Hollywood studios.” Moore called for predators to voluntarily step down.
Hardly the way to treat a longtime friend and ally and not likely to curry any favors that may speed up Moore’s latest big screen bomb.
