U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan provided a little dose of reality to the purveyors of the conspiracy theory that Russia “hacked” the November election to benefit Donald Trump.
During an appearance on Fox News, Jordan said, “We understand that the Russians tried to influence the election, but the Obama administration tried to influence the election!”
“His Attorney General told his FBI director go tell the American people in the midst of an election something that is false. And why did they do it? What was their motive? Because they wanted Hillary Clinton to be the next president of the United States,” Jordan said.
“That’s not supposed to happen in a great country like ours,” he added.
President Obama also stood behind the presidential podium in the White House Rose Garden and denounced Trump just days before the election.
Addressing reporters in mid-October, Obama launched into an attack on his future successor, urging him to stop “whining” and claiming his complaints aren’t presidential.

Obama critiqued Trump over claims the election is “rigged” against him.
“That is both irresponsible — and by the way, doesn’t really show the kind of leadership and toughness you want out of a president,” Obama said.
“You start whining before the games even over — if, if, if, if, if, if whenever things are going badly for you and you lose, you start blaming somebody else?” he said, stuttering.
“Then you don’t have what it takes to be in this job,” the president declared, pointing over his shoulder to the Oval Office.
“Cause there are a lot of times when things don’t go our way — or my way,” he said.
