Former FBI Director James Comey has a lot of explaining to do. After testifying he decided to exonerate Hillary Clinton after her July meeting with the FBI, a recent report suggests the move was decided much earlier in the year. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina is threatening to subpoena Comey over the Clinton email investigation.

Sen. Lindsey Graham threatened Thursday to subpoena James Comey, in the latest escalation in Republicans’ effort to haul back the former FBI director to Capitol Hill so he can address alleged discrepancies in his testimony about the Hillary Clinton email case.
“He’s coming one way or the other,” Graham, R-S.C., told Fox News’ “Happening Now.”
Asked if he would subpoena Comey should he not testify voluntarily, Graham said: “I would, yes.”
Comey is back under the congressional microscope after details emerged of interviews with FBI staffers suggesting the former bureau boss drafted an exoneration statement for Clinton weeks before interviewing her and ultimately recommending against charges in the email case.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked in a briefing Monday to respond to Steve Bannon’s “60 Minutes” comment that Trump firing Comey was the ‘worst political mistake in modern history’.
Sanders responded by saying that Trump’s decision to fire Comey was the right thing to do. “Since the director’s firing, we’ve learned new information about his conduct that only provided further justification for that firing.”
She gave a list of examples justifying Trump’s decision to fire Comey saying, “false testimony, giving leaking privileged information to journalists, he went outside of the chain of commands and politicized an investigation into a presidential candidate.”

Asked to clarify whether she thought Comey perjured himself or at least misled Congress, Sanders told Fox News’ John Roberts: “I think that’s something probably for DOJ to look at, not me. I’m not an attorney.”
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Comey testified he decided to exonerate Hillary Clinton after her July meeting with the FBI, however; a recent report suggests the move was decided in the Spring. Senior Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina wants Comey to testify on the Clinton email scandal.
“This doesn’t add up, and I smell a rat here,” Graham, R-S.C., told Fox News.
Judicial Watch’s Director of Investigations, Chris Farrell recently told Fox News’ David Asman, who filled in for Lou Dobbs that James Comey perjured himself when he said under oath that he decided to not recommend charges for Hillary until after he interviewed her in July.
The walls are closing in for James Comey. A real investigation must be done in order to restore confidence in the FBI.
