During a Wednesday evening appearance on MSNBC, Waters shows the country that she is not far behind Nancy Pelosi.
According to Maxine Waters, 700,000,000,000 people will be harmed if Senate Republicans repeal and replace Obamacare. Hey Maxine, 700 billion people harmed seems a little high. The Original estimate was 22 million people impacted but that was found to be too high, which is not surprising since it was reported by CNBC. The real number is around 7 million people, which is mostly healthy young people that decide to not pay for health insurance.
Waters claims that Democrats were will to work with Republicans on the health bill but we have not seen any help offered by the left. The only thing that we have seen from the left is disapproval and attacks on the GOP health care bill.
Waters included, “And so that’s no way that they can say that they’ll do more coverage than Obamacare, and so I don’t really know what they’re talking about.” Well, the GOP healthcare bill is not focused on being “fair” but it is meant to give decisions to the people.
Well, Water’s 700 billion people harmed was not even close to the false estimate from CNBC and I don’t know if it could be possible for 700 billion people to be harmed from repealing Obamacare.
