Kress Cambers is a Republican running for Congress in Missouri’s 5th district. As a day job, he works a blue-collar position in an ammunition factory. He is a unique combination of a pro-labor conservative.
They discuss some of Cambers’s platform and concerns for the government, and they cover his stand on typical labor ideology. About the guest: Kress was raised in Lee’s Summit by two very supporting parents that made sure he accomplished the goals that were set in front of him. One of the biggest accomplishments Kress said he achieved as a young man was becoming an Eagle Scout.
In 2006 Kress started working at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant and has proudly served his time there for over a decade. Kress married the same year to his wonderful wife Rebecca. They moved to eastern Independence in 2006, where they remain today. Kress and Rebecca have three children ages 9, 5, and 3 that any parent could be proud of.
Kress enjoys being with his family with everything he does. From helping coach his oldest son’s baseball team, to his daughter’s dance, to Sunday morning church with the whole family. Kress says he cherishes every minute of his time with them.
