Archive Special: The Importance of Understanding the Constitution– an Interview with Adam Winkler – Episode 359

On this episode of Blunt Force Truth, we look back at previous episode with Professor Adam Winkler. Chuck and Mark explored current attacks on the Constitution and what the Founding Fathers had intended the Constitution to do for these issues. As many of these issues are still relevant today, we hope we can remind our listeners about powers of the Constitution.

Adam Winkler is a professor at UCLA School of Law and an expert on the Constitution. On the podcast, they discuss the left’s attack on the founding document. They also explore some of the language in the Constitution, considering the historical time of the Founders and its application now.

They differentiate between individual liberties and the “rights” that Progressives think all Americans should have. They consider states’ rights versus the federal government’s and talk about the framework put in place to limit power and change to the Constitution.

Also on the podcast, Chuck and Mark talk about the importance of understanding your rights established in the Constitution, the Austin bomber and Joe Biden threatening Trump.
