Freshman Democrat House Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez today tweeted that Immigration and Customs Enforcement is a “dangerous agency” with “widespread reporting” of rape.
Ocasio-Cortez made this claim while justifying her decision to publicly list Democrats who voted in ways she did not approve when it came to funding and expanding the power of ICE. Multiple Democrats are criticizing the beleaguered representative for this list of names, some calling it “Nixonian.”
While defending her decision on Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez said that any Democrats who refuse to gut the “dangerous agency with 0 accountability, widespread reporting of rape, abuse of power” and “children dying” in its custody.

ICE is a dangerous agency with 0 accountability, widespread reporting of rape, abuse of power, + children dying in DHS custody.
