Joe Biden’s pick for attorney general, Merrick Garland, answered questions before the Senate this week.
He made it clear that he thinks the incident at the Capital is terrorism, but when he was asked about the Antifa attacks on a federal courthouse in Portland, Oregon that went on for months, he made excuses.
He actually suggested it was completely different because it happened at night.

Judge Merrick Garland told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday that Antifa’s attacks on the U.S. courthouse in Portland last year may not have been “domestic terrorism,” because unlike the Capitol riot, they took place at night when the court was not “in operation.”
