Sorry Comey, your 15 minutes are up. I have a feeling this book is going to be the hot topic. It’s got all the fun stuff that Jimmy’s didn’t.
Chozick writes that the Clinton campaign, which she covered from the beginning, had reacted furiously to the prospect of a Joe Biden run, as floated first in an August 2015 Maureen DowdTimes column and then in a reported story by Chozick. In the book, she writes that “Biden had confided (off the record) to the White House press corps that he wanted to run, but he added something like ‘You guys don’t understand these people. The Clintons will try to destroy me.’”
Yeah.
But somehow we’re not supposed to talk about the legendary obsessive vengefulness of the Clintons. Joe Biden could only talk about it off the record. And Gropey Joe is as nasty as they come.
The Clintons not only tried to destroy Trump. They’re still at it.
The Russia conspiracy theory was their work. The investigation was the work of the Democrat State. And the attempts to destroy Trump are still the work of her political allies.
We’ve got Hillary’s pick for Attorney General, Judge Kimba Wood, deciding that attorney-client privilege doesn’t apply to Trump or Sean Hannity.
The media wouldn’t talk about it when Biden said it. (At least not until one of their people had a book deal and needed to deliver something juicy.) And it still won’t talk about it.
The book is, Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns, and One Intact Glass Ceiling by the New York Times’ Amy Chozick. The Clintons are already upset. And the juicy stuff keeps coming. I’ll have another post on it later today.
