Bookstore Owner Defends Bannon’s Right To Be Left Alone After Harassment

A the owner bookstore in Richmond, VA ejected a customer after she harassed former Trump official Stephen K. Bannon yesterday.

Steve Bannon was simply standing, looking at books, minding his own business,” said Nick Cooke, owner of Black Swan Books. “I asked her to leave, and she wouldn’t. And I said, ‘I’m going to call the police if you don’t,’ and I went to call the police and she left,” Cooke said. “And that’s the end of the story.”

Cooke said the woman called Bannon a “piece of trash.”

Bannon is the latest Trump official to be harassed in public following a call by Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) to “push back” against Trump allies two weeks ago.
