BREAKING: Rick Scott Calls For FBI Director Wray To Resign

Florida governor Rick Scott called Friday for FBI director Christopher Wray to resign his post.

The FBI is under fire after it was revealed that it received information about Nikolas Cruz’s violent potential but did not act for years prior to the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, for which Cruz has been arrested, charged, and has confessed to. The tip came in on January 5, just a little over one month before the shooting.

“The FBI’s failure to take action against this killer is unacceptable,” Scott stated. “The FBI has admitted that they were contacted last month by a person who called to inform them of Cruz’s ‘desire to kill people,’ and ‘the potential of him conducting a school shooting.’”

“Seventeen innocent people are dead and acknowledging a mistake isn’t going to cut it. An apology will never bring these 17 Floridians back to life or comfort the families who are in pain. The families will spend a lifetime wondering how this could happen, and an apology will never give them the answers they desperately need,” Scott stated.

Progressives and Deep State-aligned individuals are calling for a ban on AR-15 rifles following the shooting.

FBI director Wray has also come under fire recently from lawmakers in Washington who do not believe Wray is willing or equipped to clean up his bureau after massive revelations of FBI corruption. The FBI notoriously re-imbursed some of the costs of the debunked Christopher Steele dossier, funded and promoted by the Hillary Clinton campaign, which was used to obtain a FISA warrant to surveil Trump Tower and Trump Team officials.

Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas harshly criticized Wray this week.

“This is more like the end of the movie Animal House, where Wray is out there, the guy that is yelling ‘All is well,’ ‘All is well,’ as he’s being trampled by people running crazy and rioting,” Gohmert said Wednesday in a Fox Business interview.

“He [FBI Director] has got to decide: is he going to be part of the problem – that has got to be cleaned up— or is he going to continue to defend the problem as it was the problem? Or is he going to actually get in and help us fix things?,” Gohmert said.

“It doesn’t help to continually come out and talk about all the rank-and-file greatness of the FBI.”

“The problem was here in Washington,” Gohmert said.
