ABC, CBS, and NBC chose not to cover revelations that Hillary Clinton paid off the Democratic National Committee during their evening shows on Thursday.
Former DNC chair Donna Brazile revealed in POLITICO that Clinton had made a fundraising arrangement with the DNC in which she would get to control the party’s finances and strategy. Brazile contends that the arrangement allowed Clinton to rig the Democratic presidential primary in her favor.
“Her campaign had the right of refusal of who would be the Party communications director and it would make final decisions on all the other staff,” Brazile wrote. “The DNC also was required to consult with the campaign about all other staffing, budgeting, data, analytics, and mailings.”
Despite the shocking details of the ethically questionable deal, the Media Research Center found that ABC, CBS, and NBC declined to even mention the story during their evening broadcasts.
