A charity event for fallen police officer Sgt. Ron Helus was canceled this week after the Police Chief learned that conservatives and Trump supporter actor Scott Baio and singer Joy Villa were invited to speak at the event.
Scott Baio attends the same church as the fallen officer.
The list of speakers for the event included both Democrats and Republican speakers.
Police Chief Tim Hagel canceled the event telling the organizers, “That slogan ‘Make America Great’ is not favorable, popular, within 1,200 square miles.”
