And if you’re in the Senate, and you’ve worked hard at undermining your party, selling out your voters and working for the D’s, despite being elected by the R’s, you may get a nice gig with the media.
That’s what CBS seems to be offering Senator Flake.
The moderate former congressman from Arizona was spotted at the network’s Manhattan office on Friday.
After retiring from the U.S. Senate last week, Jeff Flake is still looking for his “next thing.” It might just be at CBS News, which has engaged in talks with the Arizona Republican about a role at the network, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Flake, who emerged as one of President Donald Trump’s biggest critics and might challenge him for the party nomination in 2020, was spotted last Friday at the network’s Manhattan headquarters.
Good luck with that challenge. Flake might have a shot at the Green Party nom though.
