According to a report from the Census Bureau, China sent more immigrants to America than any other country during the last decade.
John Binder of Breitbart News reported that between 2018 and 2019, China took Mexico’s spot as the country sending the greatest number of foreign-born immigrants to the U.S. over the last decade. To put this in perspective, more Mexican nationals came to the U.S. than Chinese, Indians, and Canadians combined in 2006.
But in 2018, China began to send the most foreign-born immigrants to America — leap-frogging Canada, India, and Mexico.
Similarly, India has sent more foreign-born immigrants to the U.S. than Mexico since 2010. This pattern of legal immigration has changed the kinds of wage and job burdens in America. […]
