The Chicago Police Department dumped its files on the Jussie Smollett hoax Wednesday after the Cook County state’s attorney’s office led by Kim Foxx arranged for Smollett’s charges to be dropped in return for community service. (READ THE FILES HERE)
Former Michelle Obama chief of staff Tina Tchen texted Foxx on Smollett’s behalf to get the charges dropped. Tchen, a progressive fixer, is also managing the Southern Poverty Law Center’s internal investigation into its fired founder Morris Dees’ sexual misconduct scandal.
Smollett personally provided the $100 bill to two Nigerian brothers (names redacted) to buy the rope and other hoax supplies and tendered a $3,500 check.
Smollett went to great lengths to stage the attack with the Nigerians using a car and a handpicked alley.
