New York Senator Chuck Schumer is calling on Joe Biden to declare a climate emergency.
If Biden did this, he could use emergency powers to enact all sorts of far left policies without any push back from Congress and this is likely why Schumer wants him to do it.
Democrats are obsessed with climate change and so is their base, so they would get plenty of support for this.

Schumer calls for Biden to declare climate emergency
Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said on Monday night that President Biden should consider declaring an emergency when it comes to the climate.
“It might be a good idea for President Biden to call a climate emergency,” Schumer told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.
