Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell wants to bring the ‘Green New Deal’ to the Senate for a vote. This has made Democrat Chuck Schumer very angry because it’s going to put Senate Democrats between a rock and a hard place.
If Democrats in the Senate vote for the GND, they will expose themselves as lunatics for supporting this far out plan from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. So Schumer is lashing out.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) on Wednesday called voting on the Green New Deal resolution a “sham.”
“I heard Leader McConnell knocking the Green New Deal,” Schumer said during a speech on the Senate floor.
