Clinton says Trump and Roy Moore should be more like Al Franken

Hillary Clinton criticized President Donald Trump and Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore for not handling accusations of sexual misconduct like Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn) did.

Franken, accused by broadcaster Leeann Tweeden of forcibly kissing and groping her (there is photo evidence of the groping), apologized twice Thursday for his behavior.

“I don’t hear that from Roy Moore or Donald Trump,” Clinton said Friday on WABC radio in New York. “Look at the contrast between Al Franken, accepting responsibility, apologizing and Roy Moore and Donald Trump, who have done neither.”

Clinton went on to say that Trump has “disgraced the office” and that Moore “clearly doesn’t appear to be someone who will bring respect and honor to the state of Alabama.”

“I didn’t think he’d be as bad as he turned out to be,” Clinton said of Trump’s presidency so far.

Clinton, when asked about Bill Clinton’s past accusations of sexual misconduct and rape, simply noted that those allegations against her husband have already been investigated.

“Every situation has to be judged on its own merit,” Clinton said.
