It was only a short time ago that Virginia was on fire. All three leading members of the executive branch were mired in scandal. Governor Ralph Northam was under fire for a yearbook picture that featured him (or somebody on his page) dressed in blackface or Klansmen. Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax still faces credible claims of sexual assault from multiple accusers. And Attorney General Mark Herring also admitted to using blackface.
