World-renowned huckster and creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti’s latest scam involves collecting donations on behalf of a U.S. Senate candidate and pocketing half of the proceeds.
“Lyin’ Ted Cruz is attacking me because I am supporting Beto. Help us send the liar back home to Canada (sorry Canada) – chip in for Beto now,” Avenatti said on his Twitter account, linking to an ActBlue fundraising page.

Predictably, Avenatti left out some of the details about “donating to Beto” in his Tweet.
The fine print on the ActBlue page says that the donations will be split between Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke’s campaign and Avenatti’s PAC, called The Fight PAC:
“Split a donation between between Beto and The Fight PAC now!” the page says.
