DEVELOPING: Paul Manafort Faces First Round of Sentencing

President Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday afternoon in a criminal trial stemming from Mueller’s Russia witch hunt.

Manafort, who will turn 70 years old next month, is facing 19.5 to 24.5 years in prison in the Alexandria, Virginia case where he was convicted on 8 felony counts of bank and tax fraud.

Manafort’s lawyers asked Judge T.S. Ellis for a lenient sentence given Manafort’s age, ill health and cooperation with Mueller.
