A candidate for president who is polling at zero percent promised to ban “military-style assault weapons,” and was met with a flurry of hilarious responses after asking his followers “are you with me?”
“I am the only candidate calling for a ban and buy back of military-style assault weapons. Keep your pistols, keep your shotguns, keep your rifles. But let’s take the most dangerous guns out of the hands of the most dangerous people. Are you with me?” Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) said in a sad attempt to pander to the anti-Second Amendment left.
