A self appointed group of Jewish leaders have placed preconditions on The President Of The United States visiting Pittsburgh, even though the rabbi of the Tree of Life synagogue welcomes President Trump. (Rabbi Jeffrey Myers: Hate Is ‘Not A Political Issue.’)
Bend the Arc: Pittsburgh Steering Committee wrote an open letter to President Trump stating the following: “President Trump, you are not welcome in Pittsburgh until you fully denounce white nationalism…”
But Bend the Arc, whose member Tammy Hepps has provided commentary to Reuters and CNN, stating: “The blood of these victims is on President Trump’s hands.”
One of the many issues with this letter besides the obvious pollicization of tragedy is the lack of notoriety or esteem these activists hold in the Jewish community.
