As Mayor of Newark, Cory Booker spent a lot of time promoting himself on social media. The city is a trainwreck and Booker is running for president.
Because that’s what you do when you run a failed city, you run for president. Just ask Booker or Buttigieg.
And you know that there won’t be any hard questions once your city has a lead crisis.
Newark officials will hand out bottled water to residents starting Monday amid concerns over lead levels in water.
Mayor Ras Baraka (D) and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) said in a joint statement Sunday that clean drinking water is critically important and called on the federal government to assist their efforts.
