Serious journalist Jeff Zucker would like a word with America.
CNN President Jeff Zucker lashed out at competitor Fox News at an industry conference on Thursday afternoon, saying that Fox News “is really state-run TV. It is a pure propaganda machine and I think does incredible disservice to this country.”
Zucker added: “The idea that it’s a news channel, I think, is really not the case at all.”

Flashback: Before Trump, Zucker’s original plan for CNN was less news and more infotainment. CNN was repeatedly caught pushing fake news in the Trump era. And most of the rest of its coverage is junk. This is the network that discussed whether the missing airliner it was obsessed with had been swallowed by a black hole. The real black hole is CNN. And always has been.
