The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) both raided the home and City Hall office of Baltimore’s Democrat mayor Thursday morning.
“Dave Fitz, an FBI spokesman, confirmed agents from the Baltimore FBI office and the Washington IRS office were executing search warrants at those locations Thursday morning, as well as at least three other addresses associated with [Mayor Catherine] Pugh,” according to The Baltimore Sun.
Federal agents also raided the Maryland Center for Adult Training, a nonprofit which Pugh once led. Three of Pugh’s current staffers are listed as board members of the nonprofit.
