After getting slapped in the face by reality with last November’s presidential election, liberals have held this pipe dream that Donald Trump will be impeached because of the liberal media invention that he colluded with the Russians to steal the White House from Hillary Clinton. Literally zero evidence has come forth regarding this, but the left clings to bullshit as much as it slings it. On Sunday, two top democrats put an end to this fantasy by admitting there is no evidence of collusion nor any reason to impeach President Trump.
First up we have Dianne Feinstein, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee and ranking member of the Judiciary Committee. She was on State of the Union with Jake Tapper and said she hasn’t seen any evidence of Trump colluding with the Russians.
Tapper asked Feinstein about the discredited Trump dossier that the DNC and Hillary Clinton colluded with the Russians to produce. In that dossier it alleges that Trump and his people coordinated with Russian agents to hack the DNC e-mail and release them to Wikileaks. In addition, the fake report claims that the Russian government gave the Trump camping dirt on Hillary Clinton.
“Have you seen any evidence that this dirt, these emails, were ever given to the Trump campaign?” Tapper asked.
“Not so far,” replied Feinstein.
“Have you seen any communications that suggested that the Trump campaign wanted them to release [the DNC e-mails] through a different means? Because obviously they were ultimately released by Wikileaks,” Tapper said.
“No, I have not,” responded Feinstein.
But, but, but…liberals were promised that there was concrete proof Trump was in cahoots with the Russians and here is one of the top democrats in Congress saying no such evidence exists.
But wait, it gets worse for the narrative. The actual top democrat in Congress further crushed this fantasy of a Trump impeachment. Nancy Pelosi, also with Jake Tapper, said this about impeaching Trump:
“It’s not someplace I think we should go,” said Pelosi.
And why shouldn’t the democrats be pushing impeachment? Because of this…
“I believe that whatever we do, we have responsibility first and foremost to unify the nation. Second of all, you can’t go down any path without the facts and the law,” Pelosi said.
So there are no facts to support impeachment nor any legal basis? I know it seems weird that Nancy Pelosi just said something rational, but we’ll just have to accept the fact that even senile liberal lunatics have briefly lucid moments.
If the Wicked Witch of the West and the billygoat-eating Troll who lives under the bridge say there is nothing here, there is really nothing here. There is no evidence that Trump did anything wrong in relation to the election and there is no basis for kicking him out of office. Can we please move on?
Of course we can’t because liberals are not going to take this information as it is. They will ignore it and/or accuse Pelosi and Feinstein of heresy. It’s just a matter of time before the left discredits these two California lawmakers as Russian agents and white supremacists so they can continue the fantasy of a Trump impeachment.
