Doomed democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and the FBI are facing the heat after a bombshell report showed the Clinton campaign payed millions of dollars to finance the infamous ‘Trump Dossier,’ and the FBI arranged to finance Fusion GPS following the 2016 election.
According to Fox News, lawyers for the Clinton campaign and the DNC hired Fusion GPS to compile the anti-Trump report ahead of the 2016 election; shelling out nearly $10 million for the phony report.
After Hillary’s defeat to then-candidate Trump, the FBI sought to further finance Fusion GPS, but the agreement was never reached.
The revelation raises serious legal and ethical questions over the leading democrat’s role in creating the Russia-Trump collusion narrative, and whether the FBI was complicity involved in a political campaign.
House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy vowed to get to the bottom of the scandal; demanding answers over “whether the nation’s premier law enforcement agency relied on a document that looks like the National Enquirer prepared it.”
“I want to know whether the nation’s premier law enforcement agency relied on a document that looks like the National Enquirer prepared it.,” said Gowdy. “And if they relied upon an unsourced, un-vetted document to launch a really important investigation … then I think our country is big enough to handle that truth.”
