Hollywood liberal and A-list actor George Clooney pretended he was “furious” over longtime friend Harvey Weinstein’s decades-long sex scandal, demanding that people with information “come forward.”
Clooney and others close to Weinstein were speaking with the Today Show when they were pressed on whether they had inside information regarding the Hollywood big-shots sexual abuse accusations.
“Somebody knew,” deflected Clooney. “There were people that brought young actresses to his hotel rooms. Whoever had that story but didn’t write it should be held responsible.”
“We should have known this. This is violating women, this is assault, this is silencing women,” he added. “I’m furious. He’s mean to work with, I knew that for a fact. But the idea that he committed these kind of atrocities, I want to know who knew.”
Clooney’s comments come a day after acclaimed Hollywood director and longtime Weinstein associate Quentin Tarantino admitted he knew of the allegations, saying he “knew enough to do more.”
