Iranian National Arrested With Knives, Axe, $22K Near Mar-a-Lago in Florida

An Iranian national was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida on Friday, when authorities received calls regarding suspicious behavior at a bridge not far away from President Trump’s “winter White House” of Mar-a-Lago.

In an alarming development, the man was found in possession of knives, an axe, a machete, and $22,000 in cash.

Authorities identified him as a citizen of Iran from his passport. There are currently travel restrictions on Iranian nationals as a result of President Trump’s 2017 executive order travel ban, but reports indicate Zoleh is in the country legally.
