Former FBI Director and anti-Trump political advocate James Comey said he’s planning on moving to New Zealand in the event that Donald Trump wins re-election in the 2020 Presidential Election.
Comey was speaking at the annual Politicon conference, held this year in Nashville, Tennessee.
“What if he wins again, will you still believe that?”
“I will… From my new home in New Zealand, I will still believe in America.”
Some Americans wouldn’t exactly mind seeing the former FBI director depart the country to seek greener pastures down under. Although he’s probably unlikely to follow through on his moving plans in the event of a Trump victory, placing himself in the same category as various liberal celebrities who said they’d leave the country if Trump won.
