Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden remains the leader in the polls to face off against President Donald Trump in 2020, even as he struggles with vocalizing lucid thoughts on the campaign trail.
Biden’s most recent embarrassing lapse came during an appearance at an LGBTQ forum in Cedar Rapids, IA. He appeared to endorse allowing convicted criminals to determine their sex behind bars, which would potentially allow rapists and other sexual predators to have intimate access to vulnerable women behind bars.
“In prison the determination should be that your sexual identity is defined by what you say it is not what in fact the prison says it is,” a rambling Biden said to tepid applause from the LGBT audience.
