Joe Biden recently said that $1,400 checks are what the American people were promised.
Lots of people would disagree with that statement. They would say that Biden and the Democrats promised $2,000 checks.
Biden is taking into account the $600 checks that already went out. Not everyone is going to give him credit for that and with good reason. Biden himself made a big deal about $2,000 checks.
