Sen. Kamala Harris’ media blitz ahead of her likely 2020 presidential run has already gotten off to a disastrous start.
During an interview Wednesday with CNN’s Jake Tapper, the California Democrat was asked about reports that indicated she was not aware of a recent harassment settlement involving one of her top advisers.
Harris responded by implying that her office was too big to notice that one of her top aides had been sexually harassing people.
She also did not issue an actual apology to the alleged victims or for her lack of leadership on the issue, but rather acted as if she was the victim by saying the “experience” was “very painful” for her.
