CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey spoke with Sean Hannity on Wednesday and discussed his platform’s policy towards hate speech, free speech, shadowbanning, and why Twitter joined the other social media giants and banned Alex Jones and Infowars from his platform.
Dorsey explains in the interview with Hannity that he wouldn’t be banning Jones and Infowars from Twitter because they haven’t violated their terms of service. He went on to tell Hannity that they have “fallen short” by not communicating why they may take action on certain tweets.
“We have a lot more work to do,” Dorsey said.
“We do not shadowban according to political ideology,” Dorsey explained. “Every model that we have on the network is really looking at the behaviors on the network. We take those behaviors as signals. I do want to point out that these signals evolve minute by minute, hourly by hourly.
