London, England has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world. Many of their police don’t even carry guns. However, criminals who are intent on committing murder will find other ways to do it, even if they don’t have access to guns.
London’s stabbing problem has lifted its murder rate higher than New York City’s.

London overtook New York in murders for the first time in modern history in February as the capital endured a dramatic surge in knife crime.
Fifteen people were murdered in the capital, against 14 in New York. Both cities have almost exactly the same population. […]
