The mainstream press went bonkers over the weekend after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested an illegal immigrant while he was driving his pregnant wife to the hospital, but left out a key fact in order to make the law enforcement agency seem cruel.
Jose Arrona Lara was arrested at a gas station in San Bernardino, CA while driving his wife Maria del Carmen Venegas, to the hospital for a scheduled cesarean section.
“But immigration authorities say Arrona Lara is not just an otherwise law-abiding illegal immigrant. He is also wanted by Mexican authorities for murder,” according to the Daily Caller.
An ICE official confirmed that Arrona Lara was wanted on homicide charges.
