2020 Democrat presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg is dumping big bucks into Texas in an attempt to buy off politicians and advance his anti-gun agenda.
Ammoland reported that the gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety is vowing to spend $8 million in Texas. This is part of the $60 million the anti-gun group plans on spending in order to elect gun-grabbing politicians in the 2020 election cycle.
The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms sees this as a “leveraged buyout” of the Second Amendment. Former New York City Mayor Bloomberg is using his vast wealth to effectively buy the 2020 election.
“Michael Bloomberg is spending a fortune on his Johnny-come-lately presidential campaign,” CCRKBA Alan Gottlieb said. “But the one prize he really seems to want—a chance to turn America into his kingdom—will prove to be beyond even his financial reach. […]
