Something insane is unfolding in the city of Minneapolis.
The city council there is actually entertaining the idea of dismantling the police department.
The president of the city council went on CNN this week and was asked what people would do if they were confronted by a robber in their home or something like that.
Her answer was stunningly stupid.

Minneapolis City Council president Lisa Bender on Monday defended the council’s plan to phase out the police department by saying she can imagine a future without police, characterizing concerns over safety as “privilege.”
