NFL stadium attendance continues to suffer as the backlash from players protesting the National Anthem extends into week 16. Fans attending the Indianapolis Colts vs. Baltimore Ravens game shared photos showing empty seats galore at M&T Bank Stadium Saturday night. While poor attendance could be blamed on rainy weather and the fact that it’s the night before Christmas eve, the game should be a hot ticket considering the Ravens (8-6) have an opportunity to temporarily occupy the wildcard slot in the AFC.
Twitter user Jacob Prim noted M&T Bank Stadium was “very empty,” at kickoff.
