A candidate for U.S. Congress from New York recently endorsed a candidate for U.S. Congress from Hawaii who did not compete well in his primary, adding to a pattern of failed endorsees.

@KanielaIng to Congress with me! He is incredibly inspiring – another working class American who knocked on 15,000 doors to win his state assembly seat. Now he’s running for Congress. Imagine what we could accomplish if we both went in together,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted in late June.
She even flew to Honolulu last Wednesday to stump for her fellow Democratic Socialist before ballots were cast on Saturday.
