House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is already making plans for role as Speaker of the House after the midterm elections, when she believes a predicted blue wave will hand control of Congress to Democrats.
And one of Pelosi’s first orders of business will be to take a “direct shot” at investigating and removing President Trump from office.
Pelosi told CNN’s Christine Amanpour on Monday that she’s not “measuring the drapes” quite yet, but she’s got her priorities in order for a change of power come November.
Amanpour questioned whether Pelosi plans to lead a crusade of investigations against the president if Democrats retake control of the House, and the 78-year-old career politician from San Francisco answered in the affirmative.
