The Trump administration is maintaining its tough stance towards Russia, despite prevalent legacy media narratives still determined to push the RussiaGate hoax on the American people.
This time, the White House is condemning Russia’s actions in Venezuela.
Last weekend, Russia sent a plane of troops commanded by General Vasily Tonkoshkurov to Caracas. Additionally, new satellite images revealed how S-300 air defense missile systems were deployed at an airbase south of Caracas, adding more fuel to the current geopolitical tensions in Venezuela.
Russia’s deployment of troops along with an alleged 35 tons of cargo has caused US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to denounce Russia’s recent actions. Pompeo urged Russia to “cease its unconstructive behavior”.
