A popular donut maker in Dearborn, Mich. is taking a stand against the COVID-19 lockdown insanity of Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
The owners of Donutville USA are refusing to comply with Whitmer’s latest round of unconstitutional shutdown edicts. As a result, they face thousands of dollars in fines and are crowdfunding in the hopes of staying open in the face of adversity. They have acquired lawyer David Kallman of the Great Lakes Justice Center, who represented barber Karl Manke as he fought back successfully against Whitmer. The family-owned business released a statement on the GoFundMe platform expressing gratitude for the help from the community.
