President Trump ‘clarified’ comments he made about Russian election meddling in a closed-door meeting with Congressional Republicans Tuesday.
According to Senate reporters, President Trump says he accepts the intel community’s assessment Russia meddled in the 2016 election, however, the President stated Russia’s actions had no impact on the outcome.
The President also reiterated there was no collusion between his campaign and the Russians.
Via Fox News Congress reporter, Chad Pergram: Trump: I have full faith and support for America’s intelligence agencies..I always have. Russia’s actions had no impact let me be clear. I accept our interest community conclusion that meddling took place..There was no collusion at all.
