At 37 years old, Rep. Ilhan Omar is one of the most high profile members of Congress. Despite having no qualifications other than wearing a hijab and occasionally saying anti-Semitic things.
Now she’s pushing a Senator Bernie Sanders proposals to have taxpayers assume $1.7 trillion in student loan debt.
“I am one of the 45 million people with student debt—45 million people who are held back from pursuing their dreams because of the student debt crisis. It’s why I’m proud to stand with @SenSanders and @RepJayapalto pass #CollegeforAll and #CancelStudentDebt!” she tweeted.
Omar graduated from North Dakota State University in 2011 with a BA in political science which qualified her for little other than politics.
And that’s what she did.
